Steve & Maradee Peterson

Dedicated Stewards of Agriculture

Steve and Maradee Peterson are the heart of their third-generation family farm, putting in the hard work to raise quality beef while taking care of the land. Steve, a longtime agriculture teacher, has spent years passing his knowledge on to the next generation. For him, teaching isn’t just a job—it’s a way to share the love of farming that’s been in his blood long before he ever stepped into a classroom. With Maradee at his side, they have crafted a life that seamlessly integrates farming, family, and education, making it all worthwhile, day by day.

The Petersons have raised five kids with a mix of faith, family, and farming at the heart of it all. Their farm life is a balance of early mornings feeding cattle, long days working the land, and evenings catching up over dinner—sometimes exhausted, but always grateful for the lifestyle they share.

Steven, Maradee, and their kids enjoy a variety of family hobbies that bring them closer together. They love showing steers and goats, horseback riding, and competing in events. They also enjoy playing games, fishing, hiking, and camping, making the most of their time outdoors and creating lasting memories as a family.

Steve and Maradee are passionate about agriculture and the role it plays in everyday life. They understand the connection between producing high-quality beef and maintaining the land's health for future generations. Their dedication isn’t just about their farm—it’s about keeping farming strong for future generations. They believe in the importance of hard work, sustainability, and passing down knowledge, so their children and others can continue to build on the traditions that have sustained families and communities for generations. For them, farming isn’t just a job—it’s a way of life worth protecting.

As they look toward the future, Steve and Maradee remain dedicated to honoring the traditions of their past while embracing innovations that will sustain their farm for generations to come. With their roots firmly planted in tradition and their eyes on the future, the Petersons are proud to carry forward a legacy of resilience, stewardship, and devotion to agriculture.
